The "old" style of hands up a few feet back to guard against a fake and drive doesn't work as well with so many guards who can step back and shoot the three. SC gets in your face and if you can't pass out of it, your sunk. This is even more of a team effort than our current defense. Teammates must get in the passing lanes and the bigs are your defense against penetration. We must also must know when to double a guard. That I guess might be instinctive and not learned.
