There isn't anything special that needs to happen with this team. 11 players fully engaged on every play of every game and this team can compete. Unfortunately the preparation in the film room and on the practice field isn't there. And on almost every play on offense or defense individuals can plainly be seen as not knowing what they're supposed to be doing. They are vividly exposed.

More than anything this is what is going to define UConn Football. We will be fighting an uphill battle forever on the gridiron. We had this under Edsall. This team needs to show this for the remainder of the year. They've got 3 games at home. We will not be fooled. It will get ugly if this kind of effort is seen at the Rent.
