I am struggling a little with Helen Mirren's character. Is she really that stupid? She is like a female Sonny Corleone. Paddy Considine is just a fantastic actor. He plays the not quite tough enough, not quite smart enough son of the boss, but still credible as a capo. He has the hardest role in the show, and he nails it. The rest of the characters are solid.
