But part of the charm of the book series is dropping reacher into these unique situations and watching him analyze and adapt. Reacher is in essence, a force of nature, like a freaking tornado that touches down and devastates the bad guys around him. A taste here and there of Neagley is terrific, but over emphasizing them kicks away from the uniqueness of the series. I've said this before, but I wish they just did the book series in sequence.
