Some of my favorite TV heros wore masks: The Lone Ranger, The Green Hornet and [URL='https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro_(1957_TV_series)']Walt Disney's Zorro[/URL] ([URL='https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=Guy+Williams&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8']Guy Williams[/URL]) etc. HE was the first Zorro I saw as a child. Those other Zorros (Frank Langella/George Hamilton/Alain Delon/Anthony Hopkins/Antonio Banderas) are Johnny-come-latelys to me, even though the Zorro character was portrayed by several actors on the big screen prior to this late 50’s TV series. Douglas Fairbanks Sr. (silent era 1920) and Tyrone Power [URL='https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=(The+mark+of+Zorro&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8'](The mark of Zorro[/URL]) in 1940 being two of them. Another OTR western program you might enjoy if you like westerns is "[URL='https://archive.org/details/LukeSlaughterOfTombstone_826']Luke Slaughter of Tombstone[/URL]" featuring the voice of character actor [URL='https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=Sam+Buffington&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8']Sam Buffington[/URL] as Luke Slaughter. His voice is very similar to [URL='https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=William+Conrad&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8']William Conrad[/URL] (Cannon). I highly recommend this series.
