I want two things. First, Memphis is the only team I dont want to see in the first round. Second, I think I prefer being a 10 seed, playing the 2 seed in round 2 than an 8 or 9. Thoughts?

the Courant seems to think a 7 seed is possible. Someone celebrated a bit too much after the parade yesterday...

I will not be greedy. The only thing I want is to be on the 7 vs. 10 line as opposed to the 8 vs. 9 line.

We don't deserve more. If we get a relatively tough 7 to start, fine -- if we can't win that game we're not going anywhere anyway. And I'll take Duke at Greensboro or Michigan St in Colombus -- just don't make me play a #1 the first weekend.

I want to be a double digit seed

and I don't want to have to wait until the final region to be announced

I think the 1 and 2 seeds are fairly indistinguishable, with the exception of UK. MSU would tough also.

I just want to watch the guys at least one more game . . . .

i'd like to be the 8/9 in the mizzou region. and i agree that memphis is pretty much the only mid-seeded team that i don't want to see the first weekend.

I still want to be a 15 where Duke is the 2 but I'll take anything they give us.

If we get an 8/9 I'd prefer it puts us against Kansas as we are not yer ready to face Kentucky or UNC (and it won't face Cuse) this early but with a few wins under our belt we could then challenge anyone.

My biggest concern is still the mental toughness of this team but the BET (and JC's return) has given me quite a bit of encouragement on this issue.

My second largest concern is that our perimeter players cheat too much to the middle when the ball is on the opposite side, losing sight of their man (and leaving far too much ground to make up) when the ball returns to him. This has been the leading culprit in our less than stellar three point defense (Giffey has been the only one who consistently holds his position while Lamb, Bazz and Boat always play off and cheat to the lane) and will kill us against a team that can hit the three.

My last concern is that our two bigs (who should overmatch nearly every team in the country) cannot consistently score from inside (shy of an alley oop) and often appear to be throwing the ball at the basket instead of shooting.

This will be interesting and at least a little fun (hopefully a lot of fun for a few weeks).
