Apparently, according to the sportsbooks, just about 65%.

The over/under for UConn's win total this year is a measly 5.5 games. Unfortunately, you have to lay almost 2:1 on the over, but still seems a little low. Buffalo, WMU, UMass should be wins.

Only reason to really hold back is the fact that two players hold so much of the season in their arms - Jimmy Bennett and Chandler "don't call me Cody" Whitmer.

UConn to win the Big East is now up to 20:1, too. I probably like that bet a little better, but both seem to be disrespecting UConn this year.

Here's to a surprise year - let's show some bite.

I think it's pretty reasonable odds. And why WMU is a given W escapes me especially given that we are going there.

I think we have enough depth on the OL to withstand one long-term injury at tackle. Two and who knows what the line looks like.

I see UConn with the following record this year... finishing 5th in the BE

1. Rutgers (6-1)
2. Louisville (6-1)
3. Cincinnati (5-2)
4. South Florida (4-3)
5. Connecticut: [8-4] (4-3)
... Wins: Massachusetts, @Maryland, @Western Michigan, Buffalo, Temple, @Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati
... Losses: North Carolina State, @Rutgers, @USF, @Louisville
6. Pittsburgh (2-5)
7. Temple (1-6)
8. Syracuse (0-7)

I thought the title to this thread was "What are the odds UConn wins six games IN A ROW"

UConn definately wins 6 games this year, that's a lock! I think we have a 25% chance of winning 6 in a row. (The NC State game scares me, but I'm counting on State's ability to lay an egg early in the season) to put us over the top in this one.

Momentum, momentum, momentum - this is our year. Now I'll have to see what odds I get for 6 in a row, maybe 12:1?

I think NC St may win the ACC this season... They are supposed to have a great defense and offense (both top 20) this year...

And they are coached by Tom O'brien. The genius that has never won 10 games in a season and let Russell Wilson leave. His game day coaching is good for at least 2 unexpected losses this year.

The only concern is keeping the team grounded, in focusing on the moment, and not getting too far ahead, or dwelling behind. THe rest will take care of itself. We've got the pieces in place, to be a really good team.

It's a brand new september/autumn in a few days, and it's a series of twelve, 1-week seasons ahead, and the challenge is simply to go 1-0 each time.

Season 1 is UMass.

If you just bet UConn on the money line 6 times in a row you'd probably end up ahead of 12:1. 1:30 on UMass 1.5:1 on NCSU 1:1 on Maryland and WMU 1:10 on Buffalo and 1.5:1 against RU would turn $100 into about $2,750

That's probably well understated too. If NCSU is a TD fav for example Vandy is +235 against USCe as a 7 point underdog.
