I basically didn't miss a UConn game for like 20 years and watched almost zero last year, so I'm not really sure what our biggest needs are. Here are my presuppositions: 1) Adams is coming back and going to be a beast! 2) We have 1-2 guys who don't come back from current roster 3) Love him and his game, but can't count on Alterique being healthy. Here's hoping this is wrong! Here are my questions: 1) Did Vital make a jump? I loved him as a freshman but saw him as a 6th man, super sub, awesome glue guy. 2) Who is playing the 4? Whaley seems like glue guy super limited offensively but great effort guy. 3) I know basically nothing about how the freshman played, (I stayed off the 'Yard too). So what do we need? 1) I have banged the drum for years that we need a stud SG that can shoot lights out. Cremo seems to fit bill, but there are a ton of 2s it seems out there. 2) PG for when Adams departs and to handle next year when he sits. 3) 4-man who has some bulk and skill Would love the Washington kid from Minnesota if he follows Kimani, but who knows how likely. I do think the staff needs to be ultra selective because they will kill it in 2019 I believe and don't need to tie up spots on projects. Grad transfer or two would make a lot of sense and a transfer that is a stud only (that sits out) seem to make sense, but I'd love to hear more ideas and I could be way off base here. I have a lot of faith in Hurley, he seems to be a grinder like JC and the Young hire seems like a Grand Slam.
