Posted this morning( 24 hours after) how disappointed I was in yesterdays performance. Was mostly disappointed in coaching decisions, but was very happy to see that HCBD took full responsibility. Hoping he kicks some butt (players and coaches) this week, and we fire on all cylinder this weekend at Cinci.

If we pull an upset we are 4-4, and we again on track for a 6-6 season ( at minimum) and a bowl bid. I think most of us would have taken a 4-4 record after 8 games. Need to score some points vs Cinci and our defense needs to be up for challenge. Not sure why ( after yesterday) , but I have the feeling we play the game of the year this week and pull off the upset. Maybe wishful thinking or just hoping so ,so, so much that this team turns the corner. Even if we don't win a game the rest of the way( I can't believe I said that), I think there has been improvement over last year and the future is still bright.

But it would be so much better if we can win 2 -4 more games, going into next year with a head of steam. I truly believe HCBD is the best person for this job. Just hope he improves his game time decision making. Go Huskies

Ignore my 55-3 Cincy prediction. This isn't Cincy of the last 2 years and surely not UCONN of the last 2 years. Hopefully we can cause problems for their freshman QB and some how keep Muhon (sp?) from killing BS.

Boats how I will ignore your prediction on Cinci game. But I am surprised you have not replied to Cincinnati troll , that says we are going to get a beating from them this Saturday . I hope you check out his thread and blast him.

I think the general consensus by most fans in the preseason was that we'd be 3-4 at this point (except the loss was to UCF and we'd beat USF - didn't foresee UCF being a complete mess). If anything, we've been competent (compared to last year) and competitive in most all our games (we've actually had the lead in every game at some point). Still lots to clean up and improve on obviously but this is still a young team and should only get better.
