Agreed, but I think she is up to the task. Certainly on offense, I expect her to be very good early on.Mo is the best, our problem is that we have three of the best. If we talk about one are we slighting the other two? Morgan, Mo and Stewie thank you for all that you have done. I do feel a little sorry for Crystal next year. Mo is a hell of an act to follow.
Did you feel that way about Mo? Mo was pretty shaky her first year, wasn't even the first guard off the bench, and she's the best we've had since Sue Bird. Is CD going to end up as good as Bird? I think we need to temper our expectations a bit. We're spoiled and often times have unrealistic expectations for new players.Agreed, but I think she is up to the task. Mo was ranked #2 in her class, behind Stewie (and the highest rated PG ever by HG). Crystal is rated #3 in her class, behind 2 players nearly a foot taller. Mo was inconsistent on offense her first year. Geno has said that she didn't know how to fully utilize her speed. I've read that Crystal is more polished offensively than Mo was as a high school player. She also shows a very nice pull-up jumper that Mo added more recently. Moriah may be a historically great player. I'm not saying that Crystal will be at that level, but I think she will be a major contributor as a freshman. Crystal has two advantages that Moriah did not: Because their games are so similar, she can watch video of Moriah, and she can communicate with Mo to get guidance.Did you feel that way about Mo? next level... will be interesting, battling the best every night. I try to just enjoy their college career, the pros is a 'nother leagueI'll drink to that Daddy. It's going to be fun to see her at the next level though.
