Can all of us admit that no one here really knows who should be our next head coach? Sure, we each have our own idea of who seems to be the "sexy" pick but there's not a single Boneyard member who really knows which candidate will turn out to be what our program needs.

Slow your rolls and lets see how this movie ends. There's a well documented history of people getting fooled by being ill-informed and being too carried away with initial impressions.

Speaking of clueless K. Nathan in his serious TV guy voice said "his sources" are telling him Jeff Quinn is a top candidate. He was followed by Clawson, Lembo, Ambrose, with a brief mention of Narduzzi but Kay-Nay's intonation implied that was a 'reach for UConn'.

Even if Wake gets first dibs, it seems like this hire should be within the Narduzzi-Lembo-Clawson axis. Anything less and it's almost like saying UConn is Buffalo South.

Still troubled that Warde feels the need to call a press gaggle before the game tomorrow. If he had been talking all along no problem with it. But since he seems to be doing it for maximum effect he should wait until after the game or until Sunday morning and let TJ and the seniors have their final moment in the sun. We've waited this long to hear from The Great Man - another 5 hours isn't going to kill anyone.

Too many variables as of 11 a.m.- Narduzzi/Herman/DeRuyter etc have games Saturday, Wake may pull the trigger on Lembo or Clawson (and maybe Warde should be negotiating instead of yapping with the Horde).

Mentioned in another thread that the media requested their time together be BEFORE the game not AFTER the game so they can focus on locker room interviews with seniors and for hitting deadlines.

Warde will simply be discussing with an understandably inquisitive media about how the process is currently going with the search firm etc. After that there will be no further comment until the final announcement. There's nothing more to it. Warde had stated previously that he'd have nothing to say about the search until the season ended. He has stayed true to his word and actually intended for this meeting to take place after the game, but with it being senior day and the media's need to be in the post game locker room, coupled with their reporting deadlines, they requested that it take place before.

"We're All Clueless" ought to be the banner that sits on top of this message board.

Hitting deadlines? The game ends at 4:30.

I'm assuming 6 o'clock television news... but really could care less - just pointing out what was offered as the reason in another thread.

Holding a meeting for the press's convenience is the LAST thing Warde should be doing. Let them be reporters and make the calls people in Muncie and Winston Salem and coachingsearch.com and CBS Sports and ESPN are. What, is there going to be an embargo on release his comments until Sunday in this age of twitter, etc? . . . . Warde enabling sense of entitlement by a lazy Horde.

Wait - weren't you the person who put up a countdown timer when Warde wasn't talking to the press when you thought he should?;)
