You also don’t read the board. Plenty of hand wringing. Personally i don’t get that invested in our wins and losses, obviously like winning more It’s rather a simple point. We are better this year with top notch players with experience. That is true for most years. We have a much harder time last year without Newton and Spencer. Great players bail early yes, and it isn’t the 70s or 90s. But tell me why you think that helps consistency. What i really find a hoot is the guys on this board who do handsprings over getting a kid they are predicting is a one year player before the first practice and before they have helped us do a thing and all because they think that will encourage more one and done types as if that is what makes champions. That is sort of Kentucky’s very spotty history. Frankly, with the current transfer lunacy plus NIL, I hope it comes to players signing 2-3 year minimum contracts. If they want the benefits of the scholarship plus compensation, let them make a commitment. Pro sports have no such thing as perpetual free agency and coaches spend plenty of time and money on recruiting without having to deal with vagabond players and/or early departures. Memphis had at least 3 players on their 4th school. Silly.
