Like the SEC in the Final Four, one conference sent two to the NIT semi-finals: ACC (Clemson and FSU). I'm so glad to see all ACC teams on the men's side, out of the post-season. I watched slime ball Swofford, for well over a decade, pick apart my all-time second favorite basketball conference (Big East).
Back to the NIT, glad to see my alma mater Minny in the finals, but still heartbroken you guys beat MSU (my favorite basketball program).
While I usually root for the BIG, I want to see you guys win it all & Wisconsin next - I have my issues with our fat ass neighbors to the East
. I definitely want Minny to beat SMU, though I like Larry Brown - great story. I can't believe so many big programs passed on him - arguably the best coach in all of basketball, but he's a nomad.
