Welcome back! It’ll be great to have his energy on the court.
I heard somewhere, maybe here, that a surgically repaired Achilles is stronger than your biological Achilles due to the materials used. Don’t know if that’s true but certainly hope there are no issues.

He definitely needs more time to get back in rhythm, he also didn’t look confident in jumping, which I’m sure Hurley told him to keep that to a minimum.

“Coach Hurley gave me a book to read”

Hurley is building quite the program both on and off the court.

Giddy, Coach has had a reading list for these kids since day 1 and it's one of the most impressive parts of his program expansion, for me, to this day.

hmmmm. 'chop wood, carry water.' i endorse these habits vigorously. better than a gym workout. coach knows best. now, if i could convince any coach to get swimming into their teams regimen.....

If those kids aren't in a pool everyday, Spliffy, we have a problem. It doesn't have to be traditional "swimming" but 10 minutes in the middle of the deep end does the body good.

Just good to see him back on the court after not knowing if he would play this year at all.

Every article I read on him talks about him being a fan favorite. The enthusiast that guy plays makes everyone love him.

He looked rusty for sure, but I'm just glad he's back out there. The game where he tore his Achilles was the only one I went to last year, and it was such a devastating moment. I can't believe he's back on the court in just under 11 months.

That wasn’t the only one I went to but I was sitting right on the baseline when my heart sunk. That was tough for everyone there to see. I feel like he looked great in that game too.
