Sorry about the confusion. He's visiting unofficially this Wednesday, tomorrow.

What will sell Abu on UCONN tomorrow is how well he gets along with the other players on the team and what they tell him about the university and happenings around the campus. My hope is he connects with the Muslim community at Storrs tomorrow as it could help with his decision as well.

BTW,
The 2015 kid is Rex Pflueger (minor spelling change). Played at J Serra High (the one in San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, CA) last season (and for Compton Magic). Same HS league as DHam (St John Bosco) and Stanley Johnson (Mater Dei). Was known primarily as a shooter. But his recent videos show a lot of athleticism. Perhaps as athletic as DHam. Apparently transferring to Mater Dei for the upcoming season (Mater Dei will be awesome again, as usual).

After watching highlight video, I'm impressed. Kid has great anticipation, got a ton of steals and blocks, attacks the basket off the dribble and can make some slick passes. Looks like an excellent 3 point shooter with range, but also uses his body well to initiate contact on drives then is able to finish. Aggressive player with good speed down the court. Sign him up. Also, he didn't miss one shot in the whole video...how about that!
