If what some other posted saying he was told UConn is not really recruiting Abdul Malik-Abu is true, it could very well mean that Kevin Looney is a bigger target at PF or they are now going after someone new.3uconn, any word about whether UConn is really in the mix for Kevon Looney?
He has a list of about 15-20 schools last time I saw and UConn was on the list. Nothing new until he cuts his list or names some schools that are standing out.I'm curious where we stand with Devin Robinson
How about Chukwu? I haven't heard anything recently considering he is a legitimate nba prospect in our own state. If his talent is wasted by going to Providence it will be a real shame.

Alright then that's the latest. Your last statement is completely what recruiting is about.I didn't say I was told UConn wasn't recruiting Abdul Malik-Abu. What I was told is that UConn wasn't recruiting him as hard as some of the other schools and that was an issue to Abu and his camp. Since then Ollie has called this person and asked what more they can do and where do they stand with Abu. I'm guessing the thinking is if Abu is that enamored with some other schools (e.g. Florida) that UConn is trying to determine if they should spend more time with other PFs they think they have a better chance with. Recruiting is such a game. You have to figure out where to best spend your resources.
