Recruiting threads have quickly become off topic conversations. You know who you are - stop.
Once a week I'll (or other mods) will be creating a summary of recruiting posts worth reading.
In time, mods and posters who have recruiting knowledge and a proven ability to stay on topic, will be invited to contribute to these threads.
Only posts mentioning a recruit my name will be copied to these summary threads (otherwise the comments would have no context).
All recruiting posts that drop off the first page, or are more than a week old, will be locked.
I'm also looking for a volunteer to manage a Facebook men's basketball page. The only work will be to post links to posts worth reading.
And I'd appreciate anyone with a twitter or Facebook account posting a link to the weekly recruiting summaries. I've been paying for advertising, with no luck whatsoever. If enough people link to these posts, it'll help move the boneyard up in the search engines, and it'll give up free advertising.
