In fact, by ranking points, we were only 167 points behind #1, but 132 points ahead of #6 and over 300 ahead of #7 in the AP poll, and 81 points behind #1, but 76 ahead of #6 in the coaches poll. In other words, we are almost as close to #1 as to #6. And that's before the Marquette loss. If we take care of business this week, that gap will be enormous.
