With the injuries to MD, they might get the best of both worlds: a letdown game that they cover because of the large talent disparity. Besides, weren't they down enough last week?

On Bill King this morning he had some gambling dude on (Powers?) talking about games this week and the UConn game came up. I think he said UCF is a 22pt favorite. He said take UCF..thinks they will win by 4 touchdowns.

I am not as certain as I was in Clemson covering against the Fruit Flies, but I am probably going to go fairly heavy on them this weekend. In my opinion, MD is too banged up to hang with a much more talented team who is probably p1ssed off after last week.

I have no idea why I insist on buying 1/2 pt when I go against UCONN. Also did last week in the blowout loss to Cincinnati. Guilt about gambling against my team??

The 3:30 gambling gods giveth and taketh away. I had:

FSU -32
Clemson -17

FSU ran a end around reverse on 3rd down with 2 mins to play (up 42-17 at the time) to score a TD and give me a push.
MD puts together a 2 minute drive (down by 20) and score a TD with :09 on the clock to give me a L.

The giveth/taketh nature caused me to shy away from the 7:00 slate. For the late night games, I only like the SDSU/Fresno Over 64.

I have been awful but had NC State plus 35. They were down 35 with 13 minutes left in 2nd quarter and 42-0.

I don't know if I've ever seen a team down that bad that fast cover.
