I hope U$C is a good host. Tour of Hollyweird and a good meal for the players. . And about 299k to the schoolSunday USC is playing Elon. I feel sorry for Elon. I believe they often play their big name neighbors from the ACC, but going cross country to play in LA, I just don't know what they're thinking.
I'm afraid to disappoint our friends from Elon, but South Central is literally and metaphysically miles from Hollywood....I hope U$C is a good host. Tour of Hollyweird and a good meal for the players. . And about 299k to the school

Sadly, I'm not kidding you when I say that could be 90 minutes door to door.Metaphysically no less.
Physically, it’s about 12 miles. I know traffic is different than the mountains of NC, but c’mon.
We went to the Arizona game last year. We were early to USC, walked down the street to eat, etc. so as to avoid traffic - BUT - we also went to the Arizona - UCLA and that was literally unreal. We thought the GPS had to be wrong. It wasn't. Something like 6 miles in an hour. Which it was every bit of.Sadly, I'm not kidding you when I say that could be 90 minutes door to door.

From Galen Center to the Hollywood walk thingy it's more like 6-7 miles. Probably in the 30-45 minute range.Sadly, I'm not kidding you when I say that could be 90 minutes door to door.
Google maps says typically up to over an hour on a Wednesday or Thursday evening rush hour from Hollywood and Vine to the Galen Center (when B1G games seem to be). Then figure you need to find parking, then walk to the arena. That's another 15 to 20 minutes, at least. Trust me, I spend a good deal of time in LA these days, and seriously considered hitting up the U$C/Domers game until I realized I'd spend more time in transit than at the game. (And then the Domers crushed Trojan dreams on their home floor and I was a little sad I didn't end up going...)From Galen Center to the Hollywood walk thingy it's more like 6-7 miles. I can believe that. There parts in Toronto that take an hour for similar distances.Sadly, I'm not kidding you when I say that could be 90 minutes door to door.
Wednesday is action packed! Iowa/Iowa State always fun to watch. Thursday is where my focus will be. Let's go, UConn!!
Thanks. We don.t see enough of you guys around here,Sets up to be a good game. Got your rivalry. Got your sell out crowd. Got your similarly ranked teams. Should be a good one for the national viewers.
Saw this Hawk preview from a Hawk perspective on 247. Even though I'm a Cyclone I thought the review of the teams was quite good.

I lived in west LA for a few years and became painfully familiar with the traffic. I endeavored to stay within my "two-mile bubble" because anything farther than that, I had to REALLY want or need to get there to make it worth the struggle.Google maps says typically up to over an hour on a Wednesday or Thursday evening rush hour from Hollywood and Vine to the Galen Center (when B1G games seem to be). With 8-6 fresno in the first, i thought, "cool, this could be entertaining." Fresno has been outscored 64- 12 since then with the final qrtr just starting.Another classic BTN matchup of Fresno @ USC!
NC ST only has 1 assist with 4 mins left in the game. That tells me there is a lot of 1 v 1 play going on. You will never go very far playing that kind of basketball.Davidson giving NC State a challenge.
Yea....that was bonkersNCSt holds off Davidson 59-57

Iowa-iowast starting now on Fs1, which just ran an ad for the “upcoming” doubleheader of tenn-Iowa/uconn-lou.
