Good one with UVA and FSU. State pulled off a classic jump pass at the goal line.

Virginia is the Rutgers of the ACC.
I would disagree with that. Nonetheless, them most laughable thing of the game was when the ESPN team congratulated the ACC for their transparency on reviews after they ruled an incomplete pass on FSU. It was pretty clear that ESPN and the ACC had to swallow their tongues to call that incomplete and overturn the call on the field.

It was always more true in hoops I think, but football is catching up as these leagues get bigger and teams play more games. Conference road games are hard.

FSU can’t handle big moments. One week before big matchup with Miami and they lose to Virginia. Credit to Virginia’s QB Morris for running for TD and converting two point conversion. FSU with untimely penalty on last failed drive.

Nice win for UVa. FSU’s war with the ACC continues. Norvell rightly upset that UVa got a free playclock reset in 2nd OT.
I only had one eye on that game, so didn't see that play but between ACC refereeing and some really whacky play calling in that game by both teams (and the VA coaches not knowing the rules of OT), it solidifies that ACC football is certainly a few notches below the Big10 and SEC across numerous aspects of the sport.

Surprising officiating. I have felt for years that FSU gets distinct preference within conference games (similar to all out of conference games). Was very surprised that several critical calls went against them.

Duke dogwalking Syracuse. About time the fruit get put back in their place. They started to think they are good.
Backup QB isn’t handling the pressure well. He is gonna need reps to get his confidence.

I was thinking about Angeli and NIL. As a Cuse fan…Imagine how disappointed you would be if you get a big transfer from ND…I would guess they paid him a fair sum in NIL…then the guy only plays 4 games. I think he has more eligibility left..but he may transfer again at the end of the season. That’s the risk of ponying up big NIL dollars.

Good. Syracuse deserves nothing.
