Another game of interest is 4 - 1 Grand Canyon Antelopes versus the winless Eastern Washington Screaming Eagles. Game is at 1:00 p.m.MST and appears to be a live stream from the Eastern Washington site.

Game is actually on Pluto TV. Lopes race to a 23-15 lead. center Katie Scott for the Lopes is perfect from the field with seven points and ends the quarter with an amazing Stephanie Dolson assist from the high post. Eagles score all their points in the quarter off threes.

A few throw out the record books games early this week. Got a cross town rivalry game ..... a Land Grant vs Flagship... and the under the radar Baptist vs Methodist battle.

The Battle of the Boro starts soon. This is NCA&T's first game of the season. I'm sure they will be rusty, but they should beat the brakes offa My Spartans. Sadly UNCG is turrible this season... turrible.

Lopes win 84 - 78. Freshman center Katie Scott leads all scorers with 20 (her 4th 20 point game this year) as Grand Canyon gets 13 steals and turns Eastern Washington over 26 times. The Screaming Eagles hit 14 threes to hang around.

First year Lopes coach Molly Miller posted an astounding 180-17 record over the past six years at her alma mater, Drury, in Springfield, Missouri. The .914 winning percentage tops any active Division I, II or III men’s or women’s basketball head coach with at least five years of experience and includes a stunning 67-1 mark over the past two seasons.

A&T was on the verge of running UNCG out of their own building.... 34-18..... now its 38-35 Aggies. Throw out the record books when the Aggies and Spartans meet up.

With which team do your loyalties lie?

Well my mother and sister are UNCG grads.... Father is a A&T alum....... so.... its pretty much split. I just root for a good game.

UNCG pulls out a shocker... 49-46 :eek::eek: This game went nothing like I expected it to....... but anything can happen in a cross town rivalry game.

They are fuming on the Aggie Message board..... and understandably so.

I officially give up predicting anything. Colorado beat Utah 80-50. Colorado recently lost to Denver, who then got crushed by Colorado St. Utah beat Oregon St., then had their hands full w/ Montana St. I officially don't know anything about any team at this point.

@nwhoopfan, this is why I don't put too much concern on any win/loss record in the PAC-12 at this point in time. By the time PAC-12 Teams start the 2nd half of the season we'll be able to "predict" with more confidence which PAC-12 team is likely to win in a given game.

It is almost eerie on the accuracy of the realtime rpi probability at this point in the season:(

Well, I would say the bottom 2 teams have shown themselves-Cal and UW. I would say throw a blanket over WSU, Col and Utah for 8-10 and throw another grouping of USC, OSU, ASU are 5/6/7. 1st is Stanford, 2nd is 3rd should be UCLA but they lost to AZ so that's your top 4.

Problem solved...

Not so fast @DefenseBB ! Oregon & Stanford will be 1 and/or 2. That is all that is certain in the PAC-12, with the exception that Cal is likely to be 12.

So who will be 3/4 if not Arizona and UCLA? 5-7 is definitely among OSU, ASU, USC. Go to Vegas and bet on it. I will only take a 5% commission. :D

My only quibble is that I'm not yet convinced that Oregon State and USC will finish high enough for this. With the injury to Pili, USC is significantly weaker than last year.

I'd say, 1/2 Stanford/Oregon, 3. Arizona 4. UCLA 5. ASU are pretty good bets. Then beyond that it's.....a mess.

I don't think it's conclusive yet that UW will finish as low as 11th. Go ahead and pencil in Cal for 12. The only suspense is if they will go 0-22 or manage to win a game or 2.

It'd be quite the story if Cal somehow beat Oregon, helping their rival win the title on a buzzer beater from half court. Hope springs eternal. I'm expecting Stanford to drop a surprise somewhere along the way. Probably to Cal, just because I've tempted the woofing gods already.

Cal Baptist is off to a 7-0 start. Haven't really played anybody of note, but they are cleaning house against Big West and WCC teams from California.

Nothing about today's lineup jumps off the page for me, but it'll be interesting to see what transpires when Tennessee visits Indiana.

Although Kentucky is grossly overrated, I still think they're better than Tennessee, and so barring another self-immolation like the one the Hoosiers displayed in Lexington, this one *should* go for the home team. But you never know. Indiana seems to have depth issues, with only 7 players getting significant minutes in the Kentucky game.

I'm also curious to see what happens when South Dakota visits Bradley, a Missouri Valley program that had a breakout season last year.
