There is not a single game worth watching among the early games. Bowling Green has kept it close for a while, but Penn State is about to pour it on. Tulane/Kansas State is not completely awful. Every other early game sucks.

College football is not a viable entertainment product when the first full weekend of games looks like this.

Syracuse beating Georgia Tech 31-14. Syracuse will be at the same level as Maryland. We will see if UConn is playing better later in the season and get make it competitive relative to Maryland game.

I enjoyed the LSU vs USC game last week. That was a great game. The top 10 teams are head a shoulders over the other teams in FBS. SEC top teams-Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Missouri are teams that will smoke teams from other conferences except for Ohio State, Penn State and USC. Right now could see 7 to 9 teams from SEC and BIG making CFP. The CFP 12 team will be very entertaining.

ACC is bad. The only elite team is Miami. Then perhaps Louisville. Then a lot of 500 teams. Big 12 does not look much better. So SEC is by far best FBS then drops down to BIG. The CFP will look like SEC conference championship series

Edit: Next play, KState Corner pushes the WR with both hands while ball is in the air to get him off his route and there is no call.

There is no point in G5 and P4 playing games other than to get a paycheck.

All day long it looked like the 2 ranked big12 teams would lose but Cinci would win. All 3 flipped, including big time bearcat collapse against Pitt 27-6 to 27-28.

There has been one G5 win over a P4 team this season (UNLV over Houston). That is not healthy for the sport. If those games are essentially exhibition games, why bother playing them?
