To be fair in the games I saw when LSU played their bench (Kent and Velez), they looked terrible and teams went on giant runs with them in the game. Poa is just average and plays like a typical JUCO prospect who does play some defense. But its also Kim's fault for not using the portal more to help her bench out while its evident two of those incoming freshmen weren't ready to make an impact year one. I believe LSU had 3 scholarships opened still even after adding Hailey Van Lith/Morrow. Smith and Poole gone make life 100x more difficult moving forward for LSU. You can't replace experience and proven quality production those two added. SC's bench IMO was the difference yesterday. Feagin, Watkins, and Fulwiley are all McDonalds AA's who provide high level of play off the bench. They played enough minutes to keep the starters fresh will also putting up 16 points on efficient shooting. LSU only had 4 points from the bench, and got absolutely nothing outside of Rosario. Hailey Van Lith and Williams looked pretty dead in the 4th and were all arms on their shots it looked like. SC was much more energized and fresh. And a big difference is SC has a true PG, LSU doesn't. Granted I think LSU should make Williams handle the ball mostly the rest of the year, she actually is a great passer
