Is James Franklin unfamiliar with football?

First he goes for 2 in THE FIRST HALF.

Then after scoring to pull within 9, he again goes for two. Standard strategy is to get to 8 and keep the pressure on your opponent. Because if you don’t get the 2 at 9, game over.

Much like the coaches who have terrible time management, amazes me how unaware coaches are on numbers and basic strategy.

It’s one thing if you’re USC offense or you’re playing USC defense, but for Penn St?

It's been an epidemic this year. Going for 2 in weird situations when it makes no sense. Seen it quite a bit, from various different coaches.

Another Saturday, another shootout for Washington because their defense is absolutely terrible. Even Utah, who runs the ball all day long normally, is carving up their secondary.

The thing that always blows me away about these non safety calls, other than how completely blown of a call that it was, is where they decide to spot the ball. They put it on the one yard line, and I simply can't understand how they decide that. Miami Should actually be winning this game, but they have a lot of game like that, and FSU has found a way to pull games out, so we shall see what happens.

Crazy, Washington had a pick six but the guy dropped the ball a full stride before crossing the goal line. Utah recovered. But next play was a safety. D has tightened up. 28-24 Utah at the half, now 35-28 Washington nearing end of Q3. I don't know what's up w/ Penix, he hasn't been the same for about a month now. Still putting up some numbers, but the pinpoint accuracy just isn't there.

ACC officiating is as bad as it gets. I loved how the announcers were just obliterating the replay crew.

Penix takes a brutal sack on 3rd down in the red zone. Had all day to get rid of it too. Then the clinching FG got blocked. Utah still has a prayer 35-28 w/ 1:38 left.

I think UW will probably make it to the Pac 12 Championship Game and get killed by Oregon in a rematch. But if they somehow make it to the playoff, I think they will get exposed badly.

606 yard of offense and 5 TD's. Basically single-handedly beat the Gators.
