We’re basically playing for the BE regular season. We seem to be back on track and SJU is hot. Feels like we have a rivalry brewing with a very recent loss to them.

Biggest game since Nova when Dan Hurley got tossed? Since Marquette came and we were both top 5 in the country? This week seems way bigger.

I would agree on the biggest game since Nova came in 22.

They can't finish worse than 3rd and are close to at least wrapping up 2nd place, but beating STJ would put them in the driver's seat for first place and get them back on track as March quickly closes in. It is a big game vs a top 20 opponent, but I wouldn't say the biggest beyond maybe this year or the last two.

It’s the most expensive get-in price I can remember. Singles currently going for $125+ which is slightly above the ‘22 Nova cost.

Since UConn makes it so easy to list on Seat Geek, I've listed all my tickets this season at ridiculous prices and no one has bit. Until yesterday, when someone bought them 5 minutes after the Nova game was over. I made back over 50% of my what I paid for season tickets in total. Sucks missing the game but I wouldn't have paid a 1/3 of what I got for where I sit.

Reminds me of the Kerry Kittles game in 1995. My 3 buddies and I had season tickets first row behind the basket in front of the UConn bench. Walking outside Gampel a guy with 3 about 12 year old boys asks us where are seats were, we told him, offers us $1,000.00 for each ticket. That’s $4,000.00 for all four. We said no. Then Kittles totally torched us.

You’re supposed to say no because that’s what real fans do. Well played! I’d have turned him down too.

I was at that game. That was the first time in UConn's program they had ever been ranked #1 and they played that game in front of a national audience on CBS only to get their ass destroyed. Kerry Kittles' 37 point performance was one of the best individual performances I had ever seen at a UConn venue, Gampel or Hartford, ever and that includes UConn players. He destroyed Ray Allen in that game.

The worst part is in the alternate reality, you sold the tickets, took the cash and sunk it into Nvidia’s IPO.

I would say since the Top 5 match up at home (Gampel or Hartford) against Marquette in 2024. UConn was so dominant from the beginning of the 2023 NCAAT to that point in the 2024 season and the last team to beat them in a single elimination game was Marquette in the 2023 BET semis. Plus, Kam Jones made those comments saying "they call MSG is their 2nd home, cool. well they can go back to their first home now" after defeating UConn.

I want Harford to be loud like the 2022 game against Villanova. The fans have to get on the officials throughout the game-it makes a huge difference and helps out UConn and Dan Hurley. The fans have to get on the officials so Hurley does not have to do that so much. If you need a reminder look at this video especially at the 1:35 mark:

Can't think of a game that has more juice in a long time. StJ has owned us, classic revenge game with a lot of marbles riding. BE crown, 1 seed.

I was at that game. Kerry friggin Kittles. Totally helpless feeling.

Someone tell AD Dave to do a pregame ceremony for Gold Medalist TAGE THOMPSON and Team USA!!! That’ll get the crowd going!
Unfortunately Tage will be playing hockey in New Jersey that night.

If we beat St. John's and then we both win out, St. John's gets the top seed in the BET, correct?
