Looks like the rain is going to hold off until Sunday and gonna be mostly cloudy in the low 70's. Sounds like good weather to drink some beers, eat some meat, and watch some football to me!

The weather can obviously change between now and then but so far, so good.

Looks like the weather has taken a turn for the worse and the rain is coming earlier than expected. :(

Right now showing scattered thunderstorms, chance of rain 50%, high 60's.

High of 74 degrees.

Scattered showers.

According to weather.com as of this morning.

The WTIC guy said the rain wouldn't hit until the afternoon. I don't mind rain at the game as much as at the tailgate.

Its easier to watch the game in the rain as there is cover. Its more difficult to create cover in the parking lot. Makes sense to me.

Also, by the time game starts, I am happily full of meat and beer and thus, more capable of ignoring the rain.

Thanks, whaler. I'm doing both no matter what, but we all know for tailgates the more the merrier. And the rain cuts down on attendance.

Hoping the rain holds off until post game... More so than that hoping the wind isn't a factor.

Every year it seems to rain or be crappy, just one yr could it be sunny and 70 beer taste better when it's warm out.3 hr tailgate who started that Malloy!

That's a big change for the better from what I saw last night. Game On!

The forecast was garbage 5 days ago and has gotten a little better every day since. Now if it just sticks we're in business for a great day.

BTW any yarders needing a ride out of Danbury area off I-84 pm me. Had planned a nice setup but cancellations due to work and family could turn it into a solo run.

We actually had a run of decent weather for these games when they moved to the Rent. I'm happy that it will be a good day to evaluate the QB position as opposed to last year which was the worst weather for a spring game at the Rent by far.

My senior year, spring game 07, couldn't have been better weather. 70 and sunny or so it was awesome. Haven't been back to spring game since.

It is freakin gorgeous sitting out here in the Blue Lot!
