We Were Embarrassed On National Television!

UConn the reigning National Champions was held to fewer than 50 points.

(There are many high school girls teams that score more points than UConn did in last night's game.)

How many members of UConn's Board of Trustees are even aware of the dismal state of UConn Men's baskketball program?

Likelihood: A few. Probability that they expressed their dismay to UConn's president?: Almost O.

Is President Herbst aware of the dismal state of UConn Men's baskketball program?

Likelihood: Yes. Probability that she has expressed her dismay, to the Interim AD? Almost O.

Is the Interim AD aware that the Men's Basketball team is embarrassing the University on national tv?

Livelihood: Most definately. Probability that he has had a formal sit-down with coach C? Almost O.

The BofT, the President and the Interim AD are all partly responsible for this National Humiliation!

None of them, if my assessment is even partly correct, have been doing their jobs.

Coach C has won three (3) NCs. He should be congratulated and thanked for those accomplishment.

But, what has he done in 2012? Not much.

He has a team that doesn't play well as a team.

Sadly, he has a group of players who appear, IMHO, not to respond to him.

Peace,

LMAO @ Herbst and the B of T being responsible for the play of the team.

I'm as frustrated as anyone, but do appreciate the laugh this morning. thank you!

Seriously. I can't believe that Herbst hasn't called an emergency meeting to go over Uconn's half-court sets in detail and breakdown the mechanics of Lamb and Napier's jump shots.

And clearly you're dead-on about the program being in a "dismal state." It's been, what, 10 months since their last National Championship? I have an 8 month old cousin who has never seen Uconn cut down the nets in his lifetime. It's a friggin' tragedy I tell ya.

The biggest tragedy of all is that Richard Blumenthal is now a Senator....

Were he still Attorney General, I have every confidence that he would have already begun an investigation by now.....
