of all the fans throwing this team under the bus, so we can remind them (once again), of how wrong they are about their team, their program, their predictions and our players

or maybe the haters can do us a favor and just register in this thread, make it easy for us

PS: how do you ignore posters on this site? it's time

My philosophy is to take no post seriously following a loss for 2 days. Some posters recover faster than others.

Many posters put UConn on such a high pedestal this season and are now seriously disappointed. Just let them vent for a couple of days. Frustration is always temporary or as in our case game to game.

These posts are just as annoying as the ones you are talking about. For every negative post we don't need a post telling them to stop being negative. My god this is an internet message board, people are going to complain. This is the reality, adjust accordingly.

I believe that the negative postings are more than justified. Regardless of the expectations for this year, the product that we have witnessed this year is nothing short of mind boggling. This isnt a matter of talent, but rather a mental disability. I have no idea what it is caused by. I feel that a lack of a clear leader could be a large piece of the puzzle. What is most frustrating for fans is knowing that the level of talent on this team is very high. But the laziness displayed on the court could infuriate the most grounded and rational person.

Lamb, Napier, and AO appear to just be going through the motions. Its really sad to see right now because we all know what these individuals are capable of. I hope the best for them, but at this point no one is NBA material.

I think what everyone forgets is that these are KIDS in their late teens & early 20's. I think a lot of us "old-timers" have forgotten how changeable & in flux life was for us at that time. I am glad that no one was scrutinizing ME at that phase in my life (nevermind, THOUSANDS of someones).

justified? really?

AD age 18 age 18, anyone get that?
DD, RB, JL, TO, RS are 19 years olds
NG, SN are not teenagers, they're 20
AO age 21, the only man that can drink legally

there is absolutly no justification. Unless of course, you're just a child yourself

you didn't see the irony of that post?

It's a vicious cycle of complaining AHHH!!!! I guess I figured the more constructive posters are more likely to change their ways and just accept the negative ones. It's unrealistic to expect people to not complain, over the top on many occasions, about the teams they follow. Personally I believe we are capable of eliminating the detractors of the detractors.

The preseason expectations were unrealistic. Nothing new there.

The team isn't playing good basketball which is another thing entirely. The forwards were the big question mark coming into the season. The backcourt looked set-- young and talented. Not as good as last year with Walker but competent. Perhaps the best 3-man rotation this century. The Center rotation of Oriakhi and Drummond looked better than last year with Okwandu.

The queston marks at starting SF? Olander and Bradley at the 4? Smith as a 3/4? None of it's worked out.

Drummond is as advertised. The back court is overworked and the targets at the 3/4 can't get open or complete plays. As a whole the teams isn't very physical--not surprising in the BE at their age.

Alex at the 4 isn't an answer. The suspensions hurt. Nappier is looking tired and getting too many minutes at PG. Trying to push Nappier to SG with Lamb at SF seems to hurt Nappier's accuracy and doesn't seem to make Lamb any better or more productive. Do they get tired? It looks like it. The accuracy is getting worse.

Worse, there seems to be little upside. The upside is "will the 3-point shots start falling?"

I won't throw the team over the cliff until after Seton Hall. Then the season can turn around on a dime :)
