Avoided another home loss, tied Memphis 1-1 on the season so they do not have a clear tie breaker in case records are tied and moved ahead of them and are looking at a possible 3 (please BEAT HOUSTON) rather than back down to 5 and just barely ahead of UCF...Huge game. Causes a little separation.

Adams and Vital were Kemba and Lamb in the second half. They put the team on their backs.

Brimah was also very good on offense today, and his two FT were ice cold. When Amida nailed those, I started to believe we would win that game.

This the type of game UConn has lost the last 3 years. Our record in close games has been terrible. Call me crazy but this may the kind of win that helps turn this year around. It put us in a decent position to get a bye...

I also think losing Alterique and Larry allowed Jalen to become the leader of this team. I think the team struggled early because guys were unsure of their roles.
