However we do it, we have got to go out and get a 6'8", 240 pounder who can play right away next year and get us about 10-`12 rebounds a game. I can't keep watching these games when we get killed on the boards. We are gutting out some big wins, but it should not be this hard. Our defense is decent, we can certainly improve our decisionmaking, but we cannot continue to get outrebounded like this. Kevin Freeman can only do so much with these guys, and the freshmen coming in are basically projects who need to gain 30 pounds.

Doubt we add anyone else for 2013 class, unless someone leaves for the NBA and needs to be replaced.
However, if every big that we have now can add 5% strength through offseason training and they keep getting back to basics on the rebound drill, I think they will be okay.

Leon T may end up being an x-factor. He is the second most muscular big man after TO and has played with good aggression during his bride stints to date.

10-12 rebounds a game would lead D-I.

But I agree with the rest of your post, although I don't think that guy is out there.

Thomas Robinson averaged 12 rebs a game last year at Kansas and was a top 5 pick, you're not finding someone at the JUCO level to come in and pull in 10-12 rebs a game next year.

We have a few bigs coming in next year already. Not seeing us reaching for anything like a JC 5. Ollie is shooting for the stars in 2014 and that is just the way I like it.

If we take away the requirement of any offense, maybe there is one out there.
