All three exhibited true leadership qualities of which this team lacks. In a smaller and limited sense this team reminds me of the Rudy Gay team that had all the talent but no leader. Until we have that true leader at the point this team will struggle. And IF we get in the tourney it's all about the point guard position and how the team is directed.

I guess that means repeating might be tough

:)

BTW: Brown was not loved before he won a national title. Remember Seth Davis saying every week "CT cannot win the NC with T Brown has their point guard"?

I think there were plenty of Moore haters too.

Kemba however, was mostly loved

All three were vocal leaders of which we do not exhibit or have. This team is just to complacent. Talent will only carry you so far and Rudy and that group found that out.
And YES there was a foul at the end of the game lastnight. We should have been at the line for 2 free throws.

I still believe Bazz can do it, but something doesn't seem right with him and his teammate relationships, right now.

Calhoun always liked Taliek's heart. Shabazz has guts just not the skills to back it up yet.

Calhoun will come back and will take over the leadership role. He will become a more demanding leader since no one has stepped up to become the player leader. This team just doen't have a person who knows how to become a team leader or it's just not in their personality. Nothing wrong with this. It is just the way it is.

Khalid and Kemba were exceptional, both in their skills and in their natural ability as leaders- you probably can't find many guys like that on any team. Ricky and Taliek were seniors by the time they guided their teams to the NC.

I'd give these young guns some time.
