Lost in the haze of who sat last night there was a single, simple statement from Geno that signaled his moving into the final phase of his annual psychological warfare with our Huskies. I just read it this afternoon, being already fully satiated on glowing articles of stompings of hapless victims. Here it is:
“Special teams have the ability to win from a lot of different positions on the floor,” coach Geno Auriemma said. “This team has that. We have all the pieces that great teams need to have.”
So, it is here. And that calls for a tune. I think this one is appropriate:
