It's not Brimah's fault. It not any of the Boneyard conventional wisdom.

We have not learned to play defense under the current rules. SU shot almost 50% against us. If they didn't score, then we foul. 39 times versus Syracuse. 39!

We stopped fouling against Gonzaga. And they shot over 50%. Basically our defense stunk. Gonzaga scored 61 points against Texas A&M. Then they lit us up.

Forget the three point shooting. Forget any offensive complain. ITDS.

We didn't look horrible, and we will shoot better from 3 going forward. Our 6th man is a developing freshman. Things take time. Niether was a bad loss.

My biggest gripe about this weekend would be that KO got out coached twice in my opinion. He's a great coach, but I think he had a big part in us losing momentum against Cuse and coming out soft on D against Gonzaga. He hasn't figured out how he is going to use our bench yet, which is a tough task considering there are so many players who are competing for minutes this year.

For the record, it looks like Gonzaga and Syracuse are going to be 2 of the best shooting teams in the country (Cuse from 3 and Zags from 2)
