We are too jumpy on Defense

So often we are in good defensive position and our guys can't help themselves and go for the ball fakes. This has happened a lot the last 4 games. It was especially evident tonight. Teams are probably seing this on film. We can't try to block every shot. And A. Sanogo looked completely lost on defense tonight

Yes and that makes us easy marks and opposing coaches are taking note. Need to calm down and focus, keep our man out of the lane, contest shots without fouling and box out and rebound.

This was really the #1 problem in the game. I'm tempted to go back and see how many points/fouls they scored/earned on pump fakes. It's going to be a scary high number.

At least they couldn’t make their FTs to make us pay…a better team will.

Not only that but we gambled so much and it often backfired. Need to play more solid and just get stops. Everyone wanted the breakaway highlight dunk.

Sadly, we could not make our FTs either. Both Whaley and Sonogo missed a bunch in the 2nd half.
