There is no chance for the post season. The coach has already told us wins don't matter.

So why not use the last few games to get ready for next year's season opener?

That means playing everyone who will return on the roster right up to the redshirt limit. Experimenting with position switches. Installing new plays on ofense and defense.

Bob Diaco's dream is now our nightmare.

With a few exceptions at certain positions, we've been doing this all along. The only people not getting reps currently are a handful of guys who aren't physically ready and the backup QB's

Why not see how assistants would run their groups without HCRE2.0. Let the DC, OC and specials coaches come up with game scheme's and run the game/player/substitutions without HCRE2.0 and see what they would really do. Haven't beat a FCS team yet so can't do worse, hard to lose by more than 55 so how bad could they do.

I would love this. Coaching up the coaches.

Is this a vote to fire Edsall?

If you didn't know this was going the be the case in September, you haven't been paying attention.

Since it does not matter...

I vote for giving the upperclassmen a three-game, last hurrah.

Experiment and switch-up positions in the Spring and in Fall Camp with the young guns. But for the rest of this god-awful season, let these guys play. Give them a better opportunity to get into the flow of a game, before sending-in another freshman. If possible, give them any opportunity to go out on a high note.

They showed up. They worked their tails off. They did what was asked of them. They followed the rules. They stayed, even though week after week they probably felt less and less a part of this program.

IMHO, they deserve at least this much.
