Eagle: To Karaban at the top of the key, he lets it fly for the title..."
Horn...SWISH
All: "OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!"
Eagle: UCONN WINS ITS 3RD TITLE IN 4 YEARS...CAN YOU SAY DYNASTY?!"
Raff; HOW 'BOUT THAT KARABAN?! A 3rd helping of championship ONIONS!"

Grant Hill: Inaudible, latter confirmed to have said "Should have been Duke" and he's last seen calling junior college games on the radio in rural Texas.

We beat a team (Duke) that beat Michigan, so don't feel the David vs Goliath stakes. We're the underdog for sure, but I believe we're the team playing loose with nothing to lose. Michigan hasn't been tested this entire tourney and I feel like if the game's tight in crunch time, they are gonna falter.

This feels exactly like 2024 when Purdue was picked by all of the "experts" to anile us because of Eddy and their "superior" 3-point shooting.

Well, we all know what happened. It seems to me that tonight will be a repeat of that performance against Michigan!

I am strangely calm. I have seen this team $-#-!-+ the bed against mediocrity but also beat and even destroy Q1 competition. I have NEVER seen this team fold like U of A did against the Wolverines. They fight, even through the inconsistent shooting and less-brilliant-play. They never give up. Maybe Michigan doesn't either- I dunno. UM is certainly capable of beating UConn. Any rational observer will grant that the opposite is also true.

Oh yeah, and we also have the best General in college hoops in Dan Hurley. Let the chips fall...

Since we had a 77-74 NC win over Dook in 1999 and a 73-72 win over Dook in the E-8 this year, how about we fill the gap with 76-75 score against Michigan tonight...or should we save that score for the next time we break the hearts of Dook nation in the NCAA tournament?

I really don't care what the score is as long as we end up with at least one point more than Michigan.
 
This isn’t the thread title I wanted to see. I wanted to see “heartless, gutless, spineless”, remember that classic thread? 2014?
