I've seen announcements from an assortment of WBB teams of players
on the recently announced " Watch List". No announcement from UCONN?
Players include: Caitlin Clark, Monica Cziano, OSU Jacy Sheldon, Rori Harmon,
Elizabeth Kitley, Virginia Tech; Angel Reese, Maddy Siegrist, Hailey Van Lith.
It appears that there are, at least, 16 on the list. This is one of the most
prestigious awards for National Player of the Year, from the Women's
Basketball Coaches Association. Any information from the BONEYARD??

This is most of them. The ones that did not fit in my screen shot were Van lith, Maddy Seigrist and Sheldon of OSU.

In no world does Hailey Van Lith belong on a POY watch list. Sorry.

Thank You to " Glenn" for the posting and link. I was
reassured that AZZI was on the list. Nice to know
that other Boneyarders have superior research know how! Z

Have you seen her play THIS year? She's averaging 21 ppg.
The game against OSU did not help her cause. Got some points up, definitely knows how to get to the FT line but her jump shooting was way off and had 8 TO's . I may get flak, but she does not look in great shape which always affects shooting later in games. She started out hot and then tapered off. Got to get her fitness to the next level I think.

She's also shooting 42% from the floor(25% from 3) and averaging 3 TO's/per game on a team that's 5-3.

Don't worry though, Debbie Antonelli will start talking her up as NPOY soon.

Then she was call it an unfair recruiting advantage for Connecticut. Her incessant bitching about the regionals was the final nail in the coffin for how much I despise her. She's a totally insufferable UCONN hater.

Maybe all of the time spent on her outside business activities (a.k.a. NIL deals) would be better spent in the gym working on her shot?

I don't think that's fair. We don't know what Hailey Van Lith does in her practice time. By all accounts she seems like a worker to me. What's happening is that she IS the Louisville offense. I don't think anyone realizes just how good Emily Engstler was last year and what her departure meant for Louisville. She should've been a 1st team AA.
