WBCA All American Team Announced 1:10 PM Today

Breanna, Kaleena and Moriah eligible to make the team.

Carl Adamec tweeted this is the All American Team that qualifies a player for Husky Wall of Honor.

I won't be around at 1:10 so let me take this time to complain that Moriah got cheated.

Teams can only nominate three players to be considered for WBCA and UConn nominated Stewie, Moriah and Kaleena.

Lets take the process for next year. Presuming they play like they have this year, have to think UConn's nominees will be Stewie, Moriah and Morgan. That almost means regardless of the year Kia, Samuelson or Collier have, they won't be considered for WBCA All American due to the limit of three players nominated per team.

I can understand that you don't want five players from a team to make All American, but is three players the right limit. What do you do about the exceptional teams that have more then three great players on them. This year, I suspect A'ja or Brianna Turner will make All American, when IMHO Morgan had the better year.

KML already on the WOH. Stewie's place on WOH is secure. MoJeff needs to make the list to secure her spot on WOH. Morgan needs to make the team next year to secure her place on WOH

I'm so pleased that the "talking suits" grew brains and gave MoJeff, Stewie & KML their due! And Stewie got the Wade Trophy also, it restores my faith in THE SYSTEM! Relieved to know MoJeff will get her well-deserved spot on the WOH next year!

Of note is that this the fourth time three Huskies made WBCA AA. The previous three were NC-winning seasons: 2002, 2009, 2014.
