WBB Popularity: The 2022-23 200k+ TV viewers list

Looks like wbb popularity has taken a jump after slumping after 2015. Yes, UConn and/or SCar were involved in 7 out of the top ten games like last year, but Iowa and the Big Ten just blew it up! -Especially the Big Ten Tournament.

The games involving more than 200,000 viewers are listed below. Conference tournament games are emboldened and you can see how the Big Ten and Big Ten Netword kicked butt. It's pretty clear that Caitlin Clark and Iowa were a big part of the Big Ten's rise and the rise in wbb. So yeah @The deacon give her the award.

That's a search of each individual game's box scores game - ugh that's slow and labor intensive. till, I might do it over long coffee one morning.

And I don't even think the box scores give the attendance for the tournament games. For a reason: For example, tickets for the semi & final in Greenville were sold out, but I don't know how many of those tickets were bought by LSU fans who didnt attend the Tennessee vs Scar finals and didnt sell their tickets.
