• Is WCBB attendance steady, increasing, or declining ?
• Is WNBA attendance steady, increasing, or declining ?

WCBB attendance increasing long term, mainly due to increasing number of teams. Average per game remarkably stable over 2 decades.

WNBA attendance declining over the long term. Increasing slightly short-term since all-time lows in 2012 & 2015, but nowhere near where it was 20 years ago.

Nice info. So 1998 was WNBA high mark when the league averaged 10,800.

This year three teams are above 6,500+ per game. None are 10,000+ a game. I live in Sacramento and will fly to Vegas to catch two Aces games.

Side note way off subject when I lived in Boston in 2004 the Celtics were on a very low powered AM sports station that didn’t even show up in Arbitron ratings. Meaning zero audience due to the weak signal. Celts radio rights had to be close to worthless then. Nobody cared. People thought Danny Ainge was a joke at the time. I guess he wasn’t.

Liberty averaged almost 10,000/game last year (9,888). Then they moved to an out-of-the-way 5,000 seat arena. #$%^&*##!?!?!?!?!???
