I was watching a couple of tapes today, and yikes:
- A player shot only 30% from the free throw line last season "but missed 2 months taking away a lot of her opportunities"
- A 3rd foul "regulated her to the bench"
- "She tore an ACL in her knee"
- "Fields hits the field"
as well as the announcer explaining - in lengthy detail - the restricted arc to the color commentator (who was commenting that the call was bad, having nothing to do with arc itself)
and lots of other inanity.
I think it is getting worse.
