Watching this game on NESN makes me think "What if"

NESN knows hockey...it's on every cable system that serves the HE geographic area. What if HE and NESN got together and developed a tv package (women & men) that put more games on. IMHO that would be a great way to make $$ for HE schools.

They did this for a decade. Hockey East actually bought the airtime. Nobody is going to pay to televise college hockey on a large basis.

It's too bad they can't come up with something..even pay-per-view. It's already in place..they just have to come together and make it happen. Even 1-2 games per week to start.
 
NESN does televise Hockey East regularly, they just outsource the production now to this ASN thing. Also, many teams now stream their games online for free.
 
Could CPTV put something together like they used to with womens basketball?
It'd be a really good idea and probably increase interest in the program. UNH has had a deal with NH Public TV to show hockey games for a while.
