Stanford will win, but it won't be a blowout. I'll say a 9 point spread.

I would be surprised if they can keep it that close. This will be by far the best team UW has played so far.

Ha. Well if the game stops right now UW can keep it under 9. Down 7-0 right out of the gate.

Huh, after jumping up 9-0 it's down to 11-9.

.-.
Jump and Rees are having a 3 points shooting contest.

19-15 Stanford thru Q1. Entertaining game so far.

Stanford has more O boards than UW has total. Overall 14-4 advantage. UW winning the TO battle.

Missy with the whistle. Prepare yourselves for a ticky tacky foul fest if one team gets a decent lead...

First FTs of the game coming almost halfway thru Q2. Missy is letting you down so far.

Um...UW just grabbed the lead 23-21.

.-.
Memo: you better guard Jump on the perimeter. Back and forth now. 25-24 UW but Williams going to the FT line (first attempts for Stanford).

Tied at 32 at halftime. The Huskies have played well in the first half and haven't been able to sustain it several times this year. We'll see about today. I have to tip my cap to them being in it this far, especially after falling behind 9-0.

Jump gets the start in 2nd half and promptly hits another 3 (4-5 today). Stanford also got a FT, quick TO by UW after going down by 4.

They just showed a clip of Belibi dunking before the game. She makes it look so easy. There are other women who can throw it down, but nobody does it like she does.

8-1 start to Q3. Whatever Wynn does at halftime...do something else.

45-39 at the media TO. UW staying in contact. Lots of missed 3s, any of those go in and they're right in it, but they aren't a very good 3 point shooting team.

UW has completed flipped the tables on the O board action. If ESPN stats are correct it's now 9-0 UW in that department since early in the game.

.-.
3 starters for UW have yet to score.

53-42 Stanford starting to pull away

K. Williams got going in Q3. Peterson hit a 3 at the buzzer for her first points of the game. Stanford 57-47 thru Q3.

It's the Kiana show. Just dominating the game since halftime. 61-47 Stanford forcing another quick timeout. UW got off to lousy starts to Q1, Q3 and Q4.

Lacie getting in on the action. 64-47, this one is just about over.

This one got out of hand in a hurry, now 75-51.

UW has played poorly in the 2nd half almost every game I've watched this year.

.-.
Tara emptied her bench. They just said the Cardinal shot 67% in the 2nd half. Wow.

77-56 final. Williams w/ 20 points and 9 assists, great performance.

She dunks in warmups every game, at the end of the layup drill and just before the free throw drill. I did see her miss one once, but mostly it looks easy for her. She does seem to need to do it off the dribble (or a lob pass) so that she gets a running start. Pretty sure she can't get that high from a standing start like Griner ... but of course Griner is about 8" taller.
