The worst part of this is they traded all their 2021 picks. Fortunately this isn't going to be a great draft.Man, I was ready for the Mystics to threaten to repeat, but no Charles, Cloud, or Sanders, very likely no Delle Donne. They're probably down 80% of their starting lineup. They're threatening for a lottery pick.
Plus its the worst 2 year record combined for the lottery so they wouldn't even qualifyThe worst part of this is they traded all their 2021 picks. Fortunately this isn't going to be a great draft.

I think Meesseman is going to tear up the league this year without being in EDD's shadow. The roster aside from her, Atkins and Mitchell looks extremely underwhelming. Likely will be a tough year for the Mystics.
MHA should be a major player this season in the front court along with Tianna Hawkins. I'm curious to see what Alaina Coates brings to the table this season. With Thibault coaching, the Mystics should make the playoffs once again.I became a Mystics fan when they drafted Hines-Allen. She has not had much of a chance to show what she can (or maybe can't) do since she backs up Delle Donne. No Charles and possibly (probably?) no Delle Donne should give her lots more minutes. Hope she uses them well.
Moving Johnson into the starting lineup was not out of choice, but simply because there weren’t many options. Without much bench production during the losing streak, Thibault didn’t want a second unit of only young players. Thus, Tianna Hawkins got moved to that role and Johnson got the start.
Turning to the Rider-product, who had been waived by two different teams since she was drafted in April, Thibault knew she deserved that spot. In the short time she had been with the Mystics, he and the rest of the staff like what they have seen.
