Hard to say but since it was a Pink game it is possible.

Nobody could stop on a dime....and get change. Must have been the shoes.

New shoes soles come out of the box with mold release agent. If it is not carefully cleaned it can create issues.

If it was at XL center one might consider condensation from the ice below it.
