Regardless of what he thinks, I think it was wrong. I just can't see how at most 3 games of experience is worth the loss of a full season. Either do it early in the season so he can learn in game all year or don't do it at all.

I posted earlier that I am in favor of it. The last three games are a great way to get ready and understand what D-1 football is all about.
So happy is first game won't be next season. As far as I am concerned it was the right move.

It makes a big difference. The kid will have three D-1 college football games under his belt, instead of starting out green next year.
