I didn't read it that way. I read it as today's meeting was never meant to be an interview, that will come later.

I looked at it this way....he has had an 8 week interview...constant interaction with WM in that timeframe from an on-field standpoint. today was about
the process, off field and maybe, just maybe...about off season and team off season, other assistant coaches and philosophy about going forward.

Don't agree with your assessment of the article.
- Good communication existing between chairman (WM) and current interim CEO
as to on-going daily process, interviews and the players. Part of the process.... ALSO...players beginning to look at current off-season and programs
each will go thru to get ready for next year. (no head burying here...a lot of excitement generated)
