Waiting for it...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Jeff Hathaway also won at the D1-AAA level.

If he gets us in the B1G he is AD of the year.
Until that happens he might be remembered by UConn faithful as the Captain of the Titanic.
However, there is no way he goes down with the ship.

Hell, if he gets us into the B10 I'll name my first child Warde, boy or girl.

Did anyone get a look at the stands in UConn's last home football game? This is success?

If you omit that, given that he didn't hire Paul Pasqualoni, he has been very successful. APR, hockey, KO, women's title, practice facility, football players graduating, football scheduling, soccer doing well, baseball is good.

We have a great athletic department and he is the head honcho. Even if you think he has been lucky, somebody has to win and his resume looks great.

If he gets us into B1G, we build him a basilica in Storrs. It would be St. Ward's Square. New coaches would be signaled by white smoke.
