Wade Trophy and WBCA AA Announcements

According to WBCA's website, the All-American Team will be announced Saturday, April 1. I presume the Wade Trophy Winner will be named then as well, but I haven't confirmed that.

Did this "compressed schedule" also eliminate the public practice sessions for the four teams participating? I'm in Dallas now and have seen no mention of the practice sessions. That's disappointing. In past years, the WBCA AA team was announced after the first 2 practices were completed.
I also liked last year's DII & DIII games being played at Indy that weekend. Those teams deserve that kind of attention & exposure. Also special was Carla and Tufts being there.
Seems like a lot of collateral damage due to the change to Fri/Sun format.
